Registration history
Imported — NL since 08 May 2025
Whether the car was first registered in the Netherlands or imported from abroad. Imports can have different BPM exposure and may show a gap between the original registration date and the first NL-registration date.
Purchase tax (BPM)
€15.591
One-time Dutch registration tax (BPM) charged on new cars, calculated from CO2. Already paid when the car was first registered in NL — this is not an amount you'd pay again, just context.
Road tax (MRB)
€91 p/m
Quarterly Dutch road tax (motorrijtuigenbelasting / MRB) every owner pays, calculated from curb weight, fuel type, and province. Shown here as a monthly figure. Full-electric cars currently pay a reduced rate.
Roadworthiness (APK) valid until
21 Mar 2027
APK is the mandatory Dutch annual safety inspection. Any car older than 3 years needs a valid APK to be driven legally; this date is when the current certificate expires.
CO2 emissions
201 g/km
Official CO2 emissions in grams per kilometre, as registered with the RDW. In the Netherlands this figure feeds into purchase tax (BPM) and some employer lease rules.
Curb weight
1351 kg
Curb weight (eigen massa) in kilograms as registered with the RDW. The Dutch recurring road tax (wegenbelasting / MRB) is calculated primarily from this weight plus fuel type.

Description

Volkswagen Passat NMS SE 1.8 TSI Automatic (2014) – US Model – Very Spacious & Reliable Price: €7,500 Selling my Volkswagen Passat NMS SE (American version of the Passat), end of 2014 production. This is the larger US-market Passat (NMS), not the regular European B7. The car is longer, wider and offers significantly more interior and trunk space, comparable in size to a Skoda Superb. Perfect family car with a huge trunk and very comfortable ride. Engine: 1.8 TSI Turbo Transmission: Automatic (Aisin torque converter gearbox – reliable and smooth) Mileage: 216,000 km Fuel: Petrol Color: Dark Blue Interior: Beige leather-look interior Ownership: I imported the car from the USA myself and have owned/driven it for the last 6 years. Essentially second owner. The car is in good technical and visual condition for its age and mileage. Original paint, never resprayed. Of course there are a few small stone chips and normal signs of use, but nothing hidden or freshly touched up. Recently done: RDW inspection passed recently Engine oil changed Oil filter changed Cabin filter replaced Air filter replaced Good all-season tires 17” alloy wheels Equipment / Options: Rear view camera Multimedia system with CD changer/ Bluetooth Leather multifunction steering wheel Adjustable/extendable center armrest Original Volkswagen rubber floor mats Automatic transmission Spacious interior and very large trunk Comfortable and reliable daily driver This has been our second family car and was mainly driven by me personally. Selling only because our family grew and we bought a bigger vehicle to fit two strollers. Very reliable and easy to maintain car with a proven drivetrain. Asking price: €7,500 Small negotiation possible near the car. Serious buyers only. Communication in English preferred.
