Ik verkoop een technisch volkomen in orde en volledig onderhouden auto. De enige reden van verkoop is dat ik exact dezelfde Prius 20 heb gekocht met een lagere kilometerstand. De auto haalt de fabriekswaarden qua brandstofverbruik en acceleratie. Voor een hybride is een kilometerstand van 250.000 km vergelijkbaar met 130.000 km bij een conventionele auto, aangezien de benzinemotor maar de helft van de tijd draait en niet zwaar belast wordt. Afgelopen herfst is preventief de inverter waterpomp vervangen (waarmee het bekende zwakke punt van dit model is verholpen). The internal combustion engine and the high-voltage battery work flawlessly. The car shows factory fuel consumption and acceleration parameters. For a hybrid, a mileage of 250,000 km is equivalent to 130,000 km on a conventional car, as the petrol engine runs only half the time and without heavy loads. This autumn, a new inverter water pump was installed preventively (resolving the main known issue of this model). The car is fully functional and well-cared for, so the price is fair. Price negotiation is possible, but the margin is minimal and only in person after inspecting the car.
